Through a new version of the Air Jordan 1 Mid, Nike pays homage to Michael Jordan's first season.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Rookie Season features a white leather base with a red Swoosh, matching the flaps and outsole, referencing the Chicago Bulls' color scheme. Details recalling MJ's performance during his rookie year, culminating in a Rookie of the Year award, are scattered across the insole, while His Airness' signature appears on the forefoot of each shoe.
This new version of the AJ1 Mid will, however, be reserved for smaller shoe sizes.
