Having become an icon in France, the Air Max Plus is now available in a version with a tricolor touch.
The Nike Air Max Plus France features a black base topped with a white grid pattern, a nod to the partitions often found around parks and playgrounds in certain neighborhoods. Other references to France are also present. A 9 and a 3 are visible on the tongues, a nod to Seine-Saint-Denis, where the shoe was particularly popular. A small French flag is also embedded behind the Swoosh at the top of each tongue.
“The 9-3 influences Paris, Paris influences the world” chanted several rappers in Médine’s track Grand Paris.
